Daily Lemon: The world's ugliest cars...

Citroën Ami 6.
Some cars are just plain ugly. Others are really ugly. And a very select few are stylishly ugly. Like the Citroën Ami 6. How anyone could manage to get so many things wrong with the same car, is beyond comprehension. The Citroën designers and production team must all have been blind and mute, since no-one saw this one coming, and if they did no-one did anything to stop it from hitting the streets. But the Ami 6 has some quality in it's monumental ugliness. It's so improbable that people think it's a one-off made for a movie, and you're driving the only one. If that's any consolation.

AMC Gremlin.
We mentioned the AMC Gremlin before. Here it is. We think this proves that the AMC design team moved to Pontiac after they found themselves out of a job after AMC turned turtle. This would explain the Pontiac Aztec.

AMC Pacer X.
If AMC had only done it once, they could probably have gotten away with it, since every auto manufacturer has a skeleton in the closet. But they had to do it twice. Enter the Pacer X. The other seventies bomb from AMC. Wasn't a car like this in "Dumb and Dumber"? Or was it "Wayne's World"? Whatever, it serves them well. We hated both movies, too.

Cadillac EXT.
What were they thinking? "Let's make a Cadillac pick-up truck!" Really? A Cadillac truck? We don't think so. They must have been seriously desperate to even think it. And to build it using a car that's already seriously ugly – the Chevrolet Avalanche – doesn't make it any better. The Cadillac EXT is true to the Cadillac design of the day. It's very distinctive, not even with our eyes brimming with tears from vomiting, do we mistake a Cadillac for something else. We hate every modern Cadillac just as much as we love the Caddys of the 50's and 60's. This one is no exception.

Morgan Aero 8.
Just because we love old Cadillacs we don't have to like Morgans. Or rather, this rape of the Morgan tradition. The Morgan Aero 8 wants to be a 50's Jaguar. A cross-eyed 50's Jaguar. We can't imagine why, when it could have been a – Morgan. Reportedly it's a real monster, but so is the new AC Cobra. And the Cobra looks like it could actually do something besides sitting in the garage...
